Capacity Building Work Group Outcomes Work Group Policy Work Group

The Outcomes Work Group is working with providers and state administrators to provide programs with a common framework for effective outcomes evaluation. The group is also working to develop tools and supports for providers to respond to evaluation expectations. Co-Chair: Kristin Allen, Boys and Girls Club of Springfield

Activities

The work group collected existing youth outcomes used by numerous types of programs as well as outcomes evidenced by research. The group has examined those outcomes, consolidated them into lists based on the 5 core elements in the Task Force Report. The work group is currently reviewing resource on outcome measurement and program evaluation, and is developing a guide to help program make full use of resources currently available. The work group is also discussing the training and technical assistance needed by programs to make outcomes evaluation feasible for programs of all levels of expertise.
