June 2004 Full Partnership Meeting

Overview

This meeting provided a quick update on work group activities, and an overview of the Partnership’s work to date around the issue of Quality in Afterschool, as well as other quality efforts in Illinois. The National Institute for Out of School Time (NIOST) presented to the group on their approach to quality and on several projects from other states focused on increasing program quality.

January 2005 Full Partnership Meeting

Overview

This meeting provided an overview of the years goals for the project as well as a chance for the attendees to vote on the goals of importance to them, which was used to guide the strategic direction for the Partnership. In addition, the meeting included discussions and presentations on Sustainability, including topics such as business engagement, making use of federal food dollars, and an update on obesity prevention in Illinois.
